Grant is a 6-star guy in a 5-star world. He took his time while walking our property. We picked out 18 stumps to grind. There were several stumps that required some extra chainsaw work. This is a wonderful family owned business and i had a very large live oak stump in my yard that had been there since i moved in and he was unbelievably precise!!! You could tell how experienced and knowledgeable this man was because the area i live in has an obscene amount of granite and lime rock and its easy to break his equipment on that granite. I had a very difficult job in my yard and he made it look like cake! Very affordable and an amazing job done!!!

We recently hired Grant Thoman of Stumphead stump grinding to take care of two very large oak tree stumps in our front yard that had been uprooted during Hurricane Irma. They had big root balls. He was tireless in taking care of them for us and did an excellent job. He cleaned up both areas beautifully and once we plant grass seed and water it (as Grant recommended doing), you won't be able to tell that two trees used to be in those spots! I had a company cancel on my on 9/28/16 and I called Stumphead that day to see if they could come out and grind the stumps when ever they can before my project on 10/2/16. They called my the next day (9/29/16) that Grant can come out and take a look at the stumps and do for around $100 for such short notice. When Grant came out he was so friendly. We bought a home recently and had a cluster of below ground water oak stumps that pushed the ground up and needed to be leveled. We called several companies but no one wanted to put the cutting teeth below the dirt to level the area. Our last and slightly furthest company was STUMPHEAD. Mr. Grant Thoman not only showed up on time, but he didn't leave his shop without his EQUIPMENT. This Owner/Operator is a ONE MAN BAND. He saw what was needed. He told me he needed to sweep the area. He asked if there were any underground utilities in which there were none. I told him where my WINDSTREAM Cable was located. He painted the ground to sweep in orange marker paint. Mr Grant and I agreed on the price. Mr. Grant put on his safety gear and the WORK began. What a SHOW. He cut in a sweeping system, over and over and the chips and dirt were flying. I was seeing the work I imagined that 'could' have been done. He was determined. He raked the ground. Removed chunks of roots and blew off the dirt. He cleaned his equipment like I wash dishes. He cleaned up and off he went. I realize this is a windy review. I could have said, Good Job, give STUMPHEAD a call. So, if you need Stumps or Even PRESSURE WASHING Done then give Ms. Darlene in the office a call. She is so polite and will get Mr. Grant to come to your home or business. And when your work is done I guarantee it you won't just write a 6 word or less comment. Thank you STUMPHEAD.
